Lacy Jarvis, LMT
I started out in 1996 at Green Valley Spa and Resort in St. George, UT. I worked as a spa attendant while enrolled in the Sensory Development Institute, located within the GV Spa. I was trained not only in massage therapy, but also in beauty services such as body scrubs and pedicures. I became licensed in 1998, and in 1999 was recruited to Las Vegas, NV to help open the "MGM Grand Mansion Spa" which provided exclusive in-room and spa-suite treatments to celebrities and high rollers. I moved back to Southern Utah by 2001, but quickly moved again to work in a small Steamboat Springs, CO spa for the winter and then to Glenwood Springs, CO the following summer to pursue esthetics while working as a massage therapist at the Glenwood Hot Springs Resort. In 2003 I was offered a position at the posh Hina Mana Spa in Ka'anapali, Maui. I lived in paradise for over a year before returning to my Southern Utah roots to pursue advanced education as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Dixie State University. I graduated with High Honors in December 2011 and was hired with Intermountain Healthcare in January 2012. I have since learned a lot in my 6 years with IHC at Dixie Regional Rehab with an emphasis on outpatient orthopedic and aquatic therapy.
I love to mountain bike with my 12 y/o daughter and volunteer my time as a coach for the Hurricane HS Mountain Bike Team. I'm passionate about getting more kids on bikes to enjoy being active outside. I also enjoy sharing my love of yoga with everyone because of its profound healing benefits in my own life with a commitment to daily practice.
Thanks to many invaluable mentorships along the way, I have gained an comprehensive skill set I'd love to share with you.
