Gabrielle Raines, LMT

Born in Washington State, Gabrielle grew up as an Army Brat. Her early memories are of chasing fireflies and swimming in the classic watering holes of the Deep South. Later her family moved to rural Nevada where she spent her free time riding horses, hiking, camping, and rappelling. Gabrielle moved to the St. George area after high school and spent time raising a family before pursuing Massage School.

Having grown up with a diverse athletic background, including martial arts, team sports, gymnastics, and dance, Gabrielle has found her niche working with a variety of athletes. She loves helping people prepare for and recover from sporting events. What initially drew her into a career in Massage Therapy, however stemmed from her struggle to recover and thrive after several auto accidents and sports injuries. She found her recovery in the healing benefits of Massage Therapy and is very happy to be able to draw from her own personal experiences in injury recovery to help others in their individual journey to health.

She graduated from Healing Mountain Massage School in 2008. Drawing from the eclectic nature of her studies, she has adopted an integrated approach. Gabrielle incorporates Western style Swedish and Sports Massage with Eastern techniques from traditional Thai Yoga and Japanese Acupressure Massage, tailoring each session to her client’s individual needs.

In her spare time Gabrielle enjoys traveling, writing, photography, and painting. She periodically writes for publications such as Elephant Journal.
