Briana Hisey, LMT

Hello, my name is Briana, I also go by Bri (like the cheese ). Let me tell you about myself. I moved here from Wyoming almost 4 years ago. The last decade and a half was spent searching for my calling, my passion. I didn't find it in studio photography, being a cashier, or bartending which all led to severe burnout. But I did find my calling in Massage Therapy, and I absolutely love what I do!  My favorite thing about massage therapy is being able to share that passion with you. I will always strive to make you feel safe, included, welcome, and comfortable on my table. If you're looking for deep therapeutic work, or just want to relax and experience a healthy touch, then I got you. In the future, I would like to further my education in craniosacral, trauma informed care, body inclusive yoga, and reiki. I can't wait to meet all of you!

Specializations:

Craniosacral Therapy (CST)

A noninvasive therapy technique that addresses the head, spinal column, and sacrum.  This massage therapy uses lite touch, to improve circulation of cerebrospinal fluid, releases compressions, and improves the overall functionality of the central nervous system. This approach aimed to release inconvenient compression in areas that often cause stress and pain.  Simply put, the goal: restore the natural position of the bones to reduce stress from chronic injuries. When done correctly by a trained practitioner, cranial sacral therapy can eliminate migraines, lessen unbearable neck and back pain, and relieve temporomandibular joint disorder (i.e.inflammation of the joint connected to the lower jaw and skull).

Cranial sacral therapy also includes scalp massages to address common head pains and elicit relaxation.  Muscles in the scalp are responsible for emitting facial expressions. Tension can build and cause headaches, and a single session can reduce or even eliminate this tension.
